Seg3D Seg3D is an open source interactive segmentation tool that mixes powerful ITK and NRRD based volumetric image analysis and segmentation tools, interactive painting, and advanced volume rendering. [Seg3D License] (Seg3D 1.10 now available)

NIH/NCRR Center for Integrative Biomedical Computing Acknowledgment

Seg3D, and the data sets provided on this web site are Open Source software projects that are principally funded through the SCI Institute's NIH/NCRR CIBC. [Seg3D License] For us to secure the funding that allows us to continue providing this software, we must have evidence of its utility. Thus we ask users of our software and data to acknowledge us in their publications and inform us of these publications. Please use one of the following acknowledgments and send us references to any publications, presentations, or successful funding applications that make use of the NIH/NCRR CIBC software or data sets we provide:

Seg3DSeg3D is an OpenGL-based viewer and editor of scientific voxel data. Users can simultaneously view multiple orthogonal, two-dimensional slices of the data and create segmentation masks (labeled images) using manual drawing tools and automated segmentation algorithms. Seg3D integrates powerful higher-dimensional image processing and segmentation algorithms from the Insight Toolkit such as anisotropic blurring, edge-detection, image statistics, flood filling, morphological operations, and level-set segmentation algorithms.
